In a preparatory phase participants were able to carry out online training for the 3 hackathons to be held in Kenya, Benin and South Africa. One of the three courses is Web Design.
The course aims to allow students to be able to create and edit a website, using only Open Source software freely available on the web.
It is divided into three distinct sections:
- Knowledge of HTML and CSS markup;
- Introduction to WordPress and the Elementor plugin;
- Hints on retouching and optimising images for the web using Photopea software.
